Onshape and Upverter seem like a match made in heaven to me. Have there been any efforts towards some integrations?
The developer docs at onshape are pretty easy to follow. It would not take much to sync board designs and models between versions. Sign into the dev portal here https://dev-portal.onshape.com/signin
