I am trying to make a non-plated, square hole of about 15mm x 15mm in a much larger board. When using the Hole tool, selecting “Rectangle” reveals “Width” and “Height”. After entering values, the hole never displays on the layout. Exporting the project and importing into something else also confirms that the hole doesn’t exist. Although the invisible hole doesn’t display on the layout, it’s still possible to select it and edit its parameters again, if you remember where to click around to find it again. “Circle” Hole tool works just fine, but it’s square that I need.
To be specific, my square hole needs to be somewhere in the middle of the board, not along an edge. - it shares no sides with anything else.
Is there some other way to make a square hole, or is that a bug?
