I am working on a simple schematic and pcb layout but have noticed that I have items in my schematic that are not showing up in the PCB editor. Is there a way to force a sync or what might be causing this. I haven’t encountered this before.
It sounds like you’ve added a component to your schematic that doesn’t have a footprint. If it was a generic component (from the first tab in the Add Component dialog) you can try double-clicking it and choosing a footprint from the “footprint type” dropdown.
It’s a real part, you’ll probably have to add the footprint for it. You can double-click the part in your schematic, then click the “Part Page” button. From there, the “Edit” button will bring you into the component editor.
