Hi guys,
Please, Please , Please can you document the rules, requirements, formats etc for importing into the layout? It’s such a time waster trying to figure out what your system expects. Without rules and documentation, I’m trying tons of different variations trying to get something to actually place on the board.
- The error reporting is brutally insufficient.
- there needs to be a way to find what has been imported. As it stands now your drawing canvas seems to be infinite. Import could be working fine…but if you place things out at x,y = 10,000, 10,000 mm it is virtually impossible to find them!
Please just document what files you can accept, their format, and the rules for import.
