Insert image on a silkscreen

How can I insert image (logo) on a silkscreen from a file?

Hi pericaj,

We recognize this is a bit hidden, and so will be releasing some UX changes to this menu very shortly. In the meantime, you can find the ‘Upload file’ next to the silkscreen text tool here:

The dialog allows you to upload a PNG, DXF, and most SVGs. After upload, it prompts you to select which layer you’d like the image placed on:

Hope that helps!

Adam

I’ve tried to use this method to add silkscreened images, but it always says file upload failed, sorry. Any suggestions for getting around this?

I’m also getting upload failed on jpg, png and svg versions of my image.

Another broken upverter feature.

Hi everyone…i am a new user here. Also i am a new user of Upverter. By profession i am a Hardware design engineer. Sometimes i used the Upverter to design the PCBs. As i have seen your post so i want to ask that is it possible to make the silk screen directly from the image file? If it is there then how it is possible? And what is the benefit of doing this? Because if we are designing a new PCB and import the silk screen from image then how we will maintain the accuracy?
