Hello, I am trying to connect my components with traces, but some components will not make proper connections with the trace. I make sure that I’m on the correct layer, but still having the same problem.
Based on your description, I can’t figure out why it’s not connecting. Can you provide any screenshots, error messages, access to your design, or any further information you might be able to provide regarding this issue?
The trace will not go onto the pads. I have to drag it over the pads .
This looks like a grid size problem. Try reducing your grid size, or changing Snap from Grid to Guide.
Guide snap uses references like trace vertices, pad edges, and component centroids to align your traces.
