Upverter and CircuitMaker are Merging!

I just posted a blog post on the upcoming merge of CircuitMaker and Upverter. You can read more about it here: https://blog.upverter.com/2018/05/17/and-away-we-go-merge/

Our goal is the best of both worlds. To develop Upverter into the most powerful, but also the easiest to use, hardware product design platform. To remain natively cloud based and collaborative. But also to allow you to work offline, in desktop software and with the very powerful editing features CircuitMaker has baked-in whenever needed. It’s about choice and flexibility and our mission of helping you bring your ideas to life faster and easier.

Post your questions and I’ll do my best to answer!

Thanks Rob!!

The CircuitMaker blog (https://circuitmaker.com/blog/have-your-cake-and-eat-it-too) has this quote on it:

Yet here we are, and even with almost ZERO blogging, forum participation, or sample project creation from me (or anyone at Altium) over the last year and a half, CircuitMaker has kept growing with a life of it’s own! Keep reading, as we have a few really important things to announce, and I’ll give you a quick recap of some of the facts and figures at the end of this blog.

Any idea when we’ll start seeing more public activity on Upverter’s Forums

Will upverter remain free or at least affordable to have “private” projects?

Yes, Upverter will remain free and have private projects!

We are starting to do reach out and doing some events to get feedback and talk about what we are doing in person, if you are able to make one that would be great. https://upverter.com/events/

Awesome thanks.

I’m more concerned about private projects than it having to be free.

I’m loving Upverter, it solves quite a few annoyances I had with kicad or eagle.

Bunch of us in Vancouver are super excited about this! Upverter is great and I’ve cut my teeth on it. Can’t wait to see what comes next!

Hi robmackenzie,

We are in Vancouver on July 17th, it would be great if you can come out for some beer, food and discuss what it next! Bring the "bunch of us too, I would love to know what you are working on!
