Description - Mechanical Designer / Modeler (Toronto, Ontario)
Product: “Muse” Brain Sensing Headband
As the mechanical specialist on the product design/manufacturing team, you will be implementing changes to make the Muse more functional, more reliable, and easier to manufacture. Tasks will include include solid modeling of plastic parts for mass production, specifying materials and processes, force modeling, interfacing with suppliers and manufacturing partners, and building prototypes and test jigs. May require travel to manufacturing partners in China to implement new designs.
Must Haves
Strong CAD/surface modeling skills
Plastics/Elastomer design
Good hands on skills with the ability to prototype designs
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design with manufacturing experience
