Our company is constantly pushing the limits of innovation. This person will be responsible for designing electrical system and circuitry for Industrial Automation and Robotics development. This position is full-time and located in our Menlo Park office.

Responsibilities:

Work with lab team to test system optimizations
Own the Electrical design of several hardware systems
Create tests to validate hardware
Interface with outside vendors and internal teams to define electrical requirements
Work with outside vendors, and advise on future contracts
Select and assemble components to make a working reliable system

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
10+ years designing electrical systems for industrial automation, vehicles or robotics
Familiar with robotics architecture and components
Able to show examples of products designed from start to finish
Strong trouble shooting and analytical skills
Knowledge of ROS a plus
Data Center experience a plus
An individual who is not afraid to push the limits of innovation
Basic knowledge of software and mechanical systems
An understanding of feedback control systems
Experience designing and selecting sensors, motors, encoders, computers, and circuit boards
Very strong hands on background and mechanical aptitude
