Our pals at BitAccess are looking to hire a Director of Hardware.
The Position
As the Director of Hardware, it will be your responsibility to drive the entire business vision of our physical product line. You will be working closely with our software and sales teams, current industry partners, as well as customers. You will be in charge of managing:
• Current hardware fleet
• Design of new hardware products with manufacturing partners across the world
• Management of supply chain for components
• Finding and managing new relationships with hardware suppliers
• Setting up RMA process
• Able to quickly inspect and diagnose hardware failure issues, as well as design flaws
We are looking to grow our current hardware business to include new variations based on regional requirements. A successful Director of Hardware will be able to achieve the following objectives:
• Set strategy for achieving 99% uptime on the hardware side
• Set product line that is recognized as the best design in the industry
• Establish relationships with regional suppliers to ensure 2-week delivery time worldwide
The ideal candidate would have 5+ years experience in ATMs/Kiosk/Self Service Checkout industry with a solid track record of taking initiative and growing product lines. This individual should also be a strong team player with the ability to develop strategies for their assigned territories.
Detailed Requirements
- Technical Knowledge about the Cash Acceptors/ Cash Dispenser / Recyclers [Bulk Acceptors/ Dispensers]
- Sourced Kiosks/ATMs from at least 3 vendors and over 500 kiosks
- International Experience of import / export
- Field level support for the kiosks
- Understands the compliance standards

- Sales/ Business Development Experience
- Understanding on the business model of Kiosk / ATM Industry & cash logistics
- Entrepreneurial skills
